Knox_Harrington Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Battered them as well. Should have been five. Seriously.
DazzlaJ Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Battered them as well. Should have been five. Seriously. But we've no chnace, copyright we've won f*** all Coke Head Merson and Champange Charlie
aka Dus Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I was in the pub and only caught a glance. But was that really De La Pena??? Was thrilled to bits, used to think he was class and was wondering where he had got to.
realtarragona Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Different team with Messi and Eto'o back though
ricflairandy Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 We are a different team with momo and kewell back. Different type of players but just as important. Doubt kewell will be back but momo will, and hel boss that game.
Hassony Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 according to sherwood today the defeat to arsenal ended our nly chance of silverware as we have no chance against Barcelona maybe we should just withdraw now from the CL
Sheida V Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 These kinds of results will dent Barca's confidence. One result I took special notice of was the one against Internacional in the World Club Final (or whatever it's called). I think Inter showed how we can play Barca at the Nou Camp.
AE Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 according to sherwood today the defeat to arsenal ended our nly chance of silverware as we have no chance against Barcelona maybe we should just withdraw now from the CL According to the Friday night Radio 5 manc "love in" it was also Liverpool's best/only chance of qualifying for Europe. (Someone show the zenophobic ****s the league table please)
R A Softlad Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Beware the Manc-mockers! Monkers Mancers C**t
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I was in the pub and only caught a glance. But was that really De La Pena??? Was thrilled to bits, used to think he was class and was wondering where he had got to. He's great to watch on his day. It never ceases to amaze me how Spain can keep chucking out high quality passers like that. Guardiola was the archetpyical playmaker and now they have Xabi, Xavi, Fabregas, Iniesta, De la Pena all in the same generation who can thread a pass like no one else.
Knox_Harrington Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Different team with Messi and Eto'o back thoughDefinitely but they were remarkably ropey in defence.

Not sure De la Pena's part of that particular generation (mentioned above)...
Sion Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Can't believe Seville have lost two fecking easy games on the bounce, what's even more annoying is that Barca have only picked up 1 point in the same amount of matches. Got money riding on them winning the UEFA Cup and Liga (quite a bit actually)
Mono Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 My prediction is Kuyt and Bellamy will batter them
Ostrich Man Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Barca would struggle in the Irish League.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Not sure De la Pena's part of that particular generation (mentioned above)... He hasn't managed to capitalise on his talent, but on his day he can pass the ball as well as anyone. I like watching him play.
_00_deathscar Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I know, I'm just saying he's not part of the Alonso, Fabregas, Iniesta, Xavi generation. He was just before them.
Tonto Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I was in the pub and only caught a glance. But was that really De La Pena??? Was thrilled to bits, used to think he was class and was wondering where he had got to. He's been at Espanyol since 2002 when van Gaal let him go. I was at one of his first matches for them, against Barca in Camp Nou, in Sept 2002. Was kind of bizarre....with the Barca fans jeering de Boer unmercifully and cheering everything de la Pena did. Barca won the game 2-0 as far as I remember.
