jfogarty Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 We're f***ing jinxed. Attacking left side wiped out tonight
DonRafa Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Get well soon little laddie. By the way Luis, d'know any gypsies like?
Kite Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Thought I could lip read Gerrard saying to another player "broken leg"? Unbelievable mess if so
Cam Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Only seen it the once but it appeared to 'pop' much like Owen's did.
Tetti Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Gutted about that as will he be to miss Barca It seemed to be the knee he banged not the one he landed on. Rafa said he will be out for a long time ( and Gonzalez)
Guest Verbal Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Garcia's looked pretty bad. Rafa has said it looks like he will be out for some time.
lfc003 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Only seen it the once but it appeared to 'pop' much like Owen's did agree, judging from his reaction, i don't think he will play again this season.
Albertini Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 When is Kewell back? He must be somewhere near now?
Sion Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Garcia had a delayed reaction because he turned to us in the cent and kinda did like a cross the arms, i'm done for gig, before turning around in pain.
Gilps Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 b******s! Liverpool have been dealt a serious injury blow with the news that Luis Garcia won't play again this season. The Spaniard was stretchered off during last night's Carling Cup clash with Arsenal and a scan has today confirmed he has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Liverpool Head of Press Ian Cotton said: "Unfortunately we expect to be without Luis for six months." Chilean midfielder Mark Gonzalez, meanwhile, faces up to three weeks on the sidelines with the shin injury he sustained against the Gunners. An x-ray after last night's game immediately confirmed there was no fracture, but a scan today has revealed severe soft tissue bruising and bruising to the bone of his right shin.

Guest Sabre Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 He's a massive, massive loss for the game against Barcelona and our progression in the CL.
Kite Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Garcia ruptured the anterior cruciate. Out for a long time I'm afraid
Mike E Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Gutted for him. Gutted for LFC. Always plays with a smile, always tries to win. As frustrating as he can be I just can't help loving the little genius. My favourite current LFC player.
_00_deathscar Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Well, looking at the positive side of things, I think some people may finally now start to appreciate Luis a lot more.
