I don't know about anyone else - but I feel sick to my stomach hearing the FACup 4th round draw - part of me waited to hear who we would play!

Yeah, hate the tame manner in which we surrendered our trophy, much like the way we lost our European title. A League 2 side is in the next round but the holders aren't!

What's even more dissappointing is the high hopes we all got once again after a fine performance against Bolton. This would have been a great opportunity to defend our cup with a great perfromnace against a top team currently in form. However, silly mistakes have once again highlighted our weaknesses and just how far we are from the finished article. I'm sure Barca will be rubbing their hands after watching that too.

They're not exactly on fire at the moment. Besides, it will be a totally different game with Barcelona playing a much more open attacking game then Arsenal chose to on Saturday.

Disappointed yes but sick no. If we won every game football would be boring.

 

You have to be realistic and accept that these things are going to happen over the course of the season and eventually they even themselves out. Arsenal may play us off pitch in April yet we may win the game.

The weeks rest we now have in Feb could also be crucial in preparation for Barca

gutted we're out, but gotta look at the positives of having more energy and focus for the other three competitions we're still involved in.

on the plus side our players get 2 Saturdays of rest when the 4th and 5th round games get played.
