ynwa.tv Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Down Memory Lane Meet the Referee Double Agents
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Vital game. Two eliminations in a couple of days would do nothing for the confidence of the players or the moral of the supporters. If there is one thing we have loved in past seasons is the cup runs.
M4TTA Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 whats the chances of Rafa putting out the strongest side now were out of the FA cup and wanting to progress to the next round? Considering his "promise" to Dudek, are we expected to see the pole in our goal or see Pepe?
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 i would have no issues with retaining Dudek, but I would want to put out that team again as that result would be boiling in their gut still as opposed to putting the unused subs who maybe didnt feel the defeat as intensely !
Bailo Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Riise should be sent out on orders that if he bottles one more challenge he can join Diao at Stoke.
Serko Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Have a feeling we'll lose. the only foundation to this though is that I just think it's setup for an Arsenal-Spurs semi
Andy @ Allerton Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 If we lose we can concentrate on getting number 19 in the bag and another European Cup!
Guest Kev Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Have a feeling we'll lose. the only foundation to this though is that I just think it's setup for an Arsenal-Spurs semi I also think we'll lose, based on Fabregas coming back and us still having Dudek in goal. I think Henry will be on the bench but Arsenal ouze class all over the park apart from Eboue.

I think Henry will be on the bench but Arsenal ouze class all over the park apart from Eboue. not many people can skin this guy, and what with our under performing left side, apart from aurelio in the last game, i doubt he will get skinned either shame about speedy, had high hopes for him Edited January 8, 2007 by techmob
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I think we will win if Alonso and Gerrard start - sure who else is there asks you.
Romario Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 If Henry plays then hopefully Carra won't be near the pitch.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 If Henry plays then hopefully Carra won't be near the pitch. and the reasoning behind that is that we will just play [..insert as appropriate..] instead
Sion Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 If Henry plays then hopefully Carra won't be near the pitch. If Carra doesn't play it means Hyypia likely will, Does Hyypia v Henry inspire you with confidence then?
lfc4eva99 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 come on, its the CC, lets play hobbs and antwi
Gooner Spy Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Hi Guys, Arsenal Fan here. I really wouln't worry about Tuesday - there will be no Fabregas, Rosicky, Henry or any of those lads. Tema will be something like Almunia Lauren Djourou Senderos Hoyte Theo Denilson Song Ljungberg Adebayor Aliadiere Not worthy of losing too much sleep I would say!
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 The only real point of weakness there is the two lads in the center and I only say that because I have never seen them before. Everyone else would be pushing for a place in the 1st team though I think the one thing that may be missing is the Arsenal X Factor, that intangible ability to know where the other will run and link play so fast that you cant prevent it - and again I can only assume that will be missing as these guys probably dont get a lot of games together.

I think you'll play a stronger team than that to be honest, but saying that most of those players put the s***s up me

I'd love Rafa to pick this team, but I know he won't (e.g Calamity Jerzy): -------------------Reina--------------------Finnan------Sami------Agger------AurelioAnderson---Stevie----Xabi-------Gonzalez-----------Fowler------Bellamy-------------- Edited January 8, 2007 by RafaShanks
Sion Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 You negative b@stard!!! I'd love Rafa to pick this team: -------------------Reina--------------------Finnan------Sami------Agger------AurelioAnderson---Stevie----Xabi-------Gonzalez-----------Fowler------Bellamy-------------- Hammill's way better than Anderson, Anderson looks like he has the potential to be League 1 quality at best, don't understand the hype The team I want btw, no chance of it happening like. ---------------Reina-------------- Peltier - Agger - Hyypia - Aurelio Pennant - Guthrie - Alonso - Gonzalez -------Bellamy - Fowler------- Dudek, Carra, Gerrard, Crouch, Kuyt
Guest Kev Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 You negative b@stard!!! I just think Wenger and Arsenal have the voodoo sign on us.
Sion Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 (edited) I just think Wenger and Arsenal have the voodoo sign on us. ??? We beat them last year in the league. 3 defeats by them in a row (2 away) and they have a voodoo? They'll win because my lucky friend who has never seen Liverpool lose is going Edited January 8, 2007 by Sion
RafaShanks Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I just think Wenger and Arsenal have the voodoo sign on us. Bring back Ged and a 20 year old Robbie.
