surf Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Any news on Fabregas? ... I think he might be suspended, someone should start a thread about it just to be sure though.
floyd Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Any news on Fabregas? ...The do nice eggs, but boy their expensive
San Diego Red Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) Bolo Zenden returned to training this week but is still some way from full fitness, while Mohamed Sissoko and Harry Kewell remain sidelined. Arsenal are without the suspended Cesc Fabregas, but Julio Baptista and Emmanuel Eboue return to the squad. Theo Walcott, Adebayor, Freddie Ljungberg, William Gallas and Abou Diaby remain on the road to recovery. Arsenal's options:Arsenal (from): Lehmann, Eboue, Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Hleb, Gilberto, Flamini, Rosicky, Aliadiere, Henry, Almunia, Djourou, Hoyte, Denilson, van Persie, Baptista, Song. We have all but Kewell and Momo. The BBC... Edited January 5, 2007 by KPatel

The BBC... BBC are wrong, Van Persil is suspended as well
Guest Red & Green Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Van Persie not according to http://arsenalnews.wordpress.com/2007/01/0...inst-liverpool/ "So the team is from the following players - Lehmann, Eboue, Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Hleb, Gilberto, Flamini, Rosicky, Aliadiere, Henry, Almunia, Djourou, Hoyte, Denilson, van Persie, Baptista, Song There was some rumour floating about, saying how Robin was suspended. Not true. The loss of Fabregas is the most gutting. He is vital for us. My initial feeling on the starting line up is as follows - Henry, van Persie Rosicky, Gilberto, Flamini, Hleb Clichy, Senderos, Toure, Eboue Lehman"
Falconhoof Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Its still a very good team despite the loss of fabregas. Van Persie and Henry can damage most teams. We should boss them in midfield though and Pennant should be able to get the better of Clichy.
Clay Davis Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 the only place theyre better than us is in attack... and if bellamy/crouch/kuyt are on form that may be a minimal difference.
Guest Linton Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Can we just please put them in their place. We owe them that after that dreadful game at the Emirates. I would just love to see that bitter Wenger on the sidlines moaning. I don't want us to just win 1-0 or whatever. I want us to win with a good margin, like we used to at home a couple of years ago. COME ON!
Nebraska Red Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Can we just please put them in their place. We owe them that after that dreadful game at the Emirates. I would just love to see that bitter Wenger on the sidlines moaning. I don't want us to just win 1-0 or whatever. I want us to win with a good margin, like we used to at home a couple of years ago. COME ON! personally, I will take a 94th minute, hotly disputed deflected goal if it means we win.
Earl Hafler Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I think Arsenal might play 4-5-1 Henry will work the channel between Finnan and Carra, Van Persie will work Hyypia and Riise. We should be looking for Rosicky and Hleb through the middle. Wide players are going to have to be on form today. And i agree with Nebraska Red. Much as i'd love a 4-0 thrashing, i'd take a 94th minute pinball winner any day !!!

Dublinred4ever Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Thats our best team, but why drop Reina??? Don't like that at all
Earl Hafler Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Thats our best team, but why drop Reina??? Don't like that at allDudek's record against Arsenal is poor.
Bailo Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 WHat's up with The Dude playing?! A gentleman's agreement maybe? Reina with a slight strain or something? Not sure about this one bit.
Dublinred4ever Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Is he being put in the shop window for the January transfer window? Unless Pepe's carrying a knock thats all i can think of. Strange that Wengers dropped Lehman as well.
