Guest Kev Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Only a paltry 1,300 fans for a trip to Anfield. Tin Pot club, Tin Pot fans. I hope the pig f*****s go down next season.
ManxRed Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Why watch your team kick the opposition in the air at the ground when you can watch them kick the opposition in the air from the comfort of your council house armchair? Kn*bs.
Greenoak Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I think it was Alan ( Total k****ead ) Smith on the prem plus prog. called the Bolton support terrific. I nearly chocked on me pint. So may empty seats in their end I though we were playing at boro.
Earl Hafler Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I think it was Alan ( Total k****ead ) Smith on the prem plus prog. called the Bolton support terrific. I nearly chocked on me pint. So may empty seats in their end I though we were playing at boro. Bolton and Boro. Horrible clubs recently managed by fathead managers way who have the nerve to think their respective clubs are on a par with Liverpool ( Boss Nass and McLaren ) Boss Nass is clever in the transfer market = Rafa buys too many foreign players. Fecks me off.
Bigal Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 When I was walking past the ground and there was 4 or 5 bolton fans stood on the wall opposite the shankly gates and applauded their team on their way on the way back. I thought you lot are (fool) hardy. Also, did their fans mention that benitez is a fat Spanish waiter? With sammy lee and allerdyce on their bench?
Will Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I dislike Bolton but mainly cos of their total twot of a manager To be fair to their fans, they were pretty noisy yesterday. Although this should be tempered by the fact that the first song they came out with was about Rafa - does any other team sing about our Manager?
Bootle Buck Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 (edited) Also, did their fans mention that benitez is a fat Spanish waiter? With sammy lee and allerdyce on their bench?Maybe they were singing that to Campo Edited January 2, 2007 by Bootle Buck
Sion Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I pretty sure I had a bolton fan sat next to me. He couldn't have made it more obvious. Never oohing or arrring when we got near, but always squatting up when Bolton were on the attack. Plus sat on his fat a*** when we scored. Held his wife's handbag on his lap the whole time as well.
Paul B Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Maybe they were singing that to Campo Some lads near us singing to Campo, "The wheels on your house go round and round." I know I shouldn't but come on, funny's funny.
Clay Davis Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 that Alan Smith on the commentary. dear lord. "You could just see Bolton nicking one, you know what they're like, they're really up for this" x 9000, "They're starting to really come into this" - cue the stats that Liverpool have had about 12 shots and bolton have had 0. 3-0 up... ... "Bolton are looking jaded, this isn't the real Bolton. They haven't turned up today atall."
ManxRed Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 AND he manages to sound exactly like Kevin Turvey while he's saying it!
Scally Bob Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 but always squatting up when Bolton were on the attack. You did well to spot that. What attack?
dorgie Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I pretty sure I had a bolton fan sat next to me. He couldn't have made it more obvious. Never oohing or arrring when we got near, but always squatting up when Bolton were on the attack. Plus sat on his fat a*** when we scored. Held his wife's handbag on his lap the whole time as well. Conclusion being that he was more ashamed of being a Bolton fan then of his penchant for crossdressing at a football match
Mike Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 AND he manages to sound exactly like Kevin Turvey while he's saying it!LOLblast from the past there.my names kevin turvey and this is the 20th century.
slapnuts Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 There was no public transport and a lot of there fans would have been getting boozed up the night before?
Will Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 There was no public transport There was plenty of public transport to loads of places including Manc and London - so presumably Bolton too
Buttles Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 When they were talking about the empty seats before the game on 5 live, one of the stewards apparently overheard them talking and said that on a clear day you can even see the Reebok from the top of one of the stands at Anfield. No excuse.
ManxRed Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Maybe but there was none up here. They could've twocked a couple of cars or summat.

liverbird04 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 seems rafa has got a debate raging in the 'bolton news' paper http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/mostpopular...ur.php#comments

Guest Cameron Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Seroiusly, I find our little tiff with Bolton embarassing. When Mouroinho takes dig after dig at us Rafa stays silent yet he's happy to pick on little Bolton. FFS why do we make such a big deal about them? They're a small club compared to Liverpool, they've done extremely well to get to the premiership and stay there and even though they have limited resources, they're pushing the usual CL contenders hard in the league.Yes they play s***ty football but ours wasn't much better when Ged was in charge, and he spent over £100M on players. Let's focus on our main rivals, ManUre, Everton and now Chelsea, Bolton don't even factor into the equation but many of us here seem determined to 'bully' them.
Benitez Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Bolton ain't any smaller than a host of other mid table clubs. The only embarrassing element is their insistence on this bizarre 'Little Bolton' image, which is a load of rubbish. They spend the millions like the rest of these clubs on wages and fees. If they stopped with the pathetic inferiority complex they possess, they may find a few more fans.
