3rd from bottom, worst goal difference in the PL and they get battered by Reading!!

OBE, out before Easter.

And just for good measure, Alan Pardew could be sacked by 2 teams in one season if his team stays in the relegation zone. However, we need his team to outsmart the Gunners tomorrow. :o

West Ham may go down, but there's no chance of Curbishley being fired

... or pardew

Aye, wouldn't have thought so. Both clubs were in serious trouble before they arrived.

I still can't understand with the way they are playing why Tevez and Mascherina aren't given a go. The Hammers lack of talent is beginning to show. They over-acheived last year with a Championship level team but now it is catching up to them.

help me catch up

Pardew was at West Ham, and fired. Curbs is now at West Ham

Les was sacked by Charlton, who have appointed?

Pardew...

all the talks about reo coker and ferdinand and few of the others got to their heads, they were a one season wonder, and they would still be where they are even if the had Ashton fit, its not like he saved norwich from relegation.

I still don't understand how they could be so poor. It just goes to show that team moral and spirit are so important. What happened for the rot to set in though? Can't blame it on 2 argie world class players really ?!

Lawrenson mentioned Big-time Billys (or sumfink) and he's not wrong. They've got a bit of celeb-media fame, new contracts, the money, the bling - everything that matters (medals don't, dey ain't bling innit).

No-one encapsulates it more than Ferdinand. When he was boasting of Barcelona watching him he should have been dropped to the reserves for a reality check.

But West Ham's main problems have stemmed from the ridiculous signings of Tevez and Mascherano enforced on Pardew & the squad. Whoever sanctioned that ought to be the one fired.

I thought Curbs post match interview showed class.

Unlike Bolton manager who refused to do interviews sending out spit the dog instread knowing they wont ask him anything as he cannot say anything. Fat Sam proved once again he is a classless prick.

Don't se that at all, they've hardly been played and it's a convenient excuse for collective lack of effort. They are very good players and all their fans and the manager were more than happy to have them at the time. It's as you put it in the first two paragraphs, it's young players thinking they are better than they are and not putting enough in.

i thought he passed the buck and pushed all responsibility away from himself, maybe with justfification, but it was very much 'these players were in trouble before I got here, not been here long, i'll do my best, but these players might not be up to it and it's not my fault'. That's what he said to Sky, Fat Sam also spoke to them and was honest about losing I have to say, both interviews are on their website
