Why is Cardiff's Millennium Stadium

The other thread by Ant has prompted this one. I think Cardiff's stadium is absolutely stunning, from location to design.

Seens as our stadium is probably as close to getting built as ever I really hope I could say the say thing.

What makes the Millennium Stadium special to me is the fact it's smack in the middle of the City Centre, it's clean, the view of the pitch is outstanding and the noise echoes around.

What about yourselves ?

It is the best because it is in the middle of the cultural mecca of the western world.

It's Cardiff we are talking about here, not New York, mate! There's estates there where they still point at aeroplanes.

I'm from Cardiff mate, Butetown specifically. I know all of those estates. I've been one of the pointers in my day.

Because of the hallowed turf when Barry John, Phil Bennett and JPR Williams sprinted to so many memorable touchdowns. Yacky Da!

That would be where the ramp leads into the Stadium from Westgate Street. I think there is only about 33% of the original location of the turf still in the same place.

The only pointing to the sky that goes on is when the police helicopters are out and everyone runs for cover.
