Ombudsam Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Is there really any need for him to be that big. I mean c'mon can't the Premier League look into it or something. I saw little Luis chase for a ball which he could have got if he slid in but he didn't. Know why, cos he looked up and there was this bloke who looked like he'd just eaten a whole Inca tribe standing there. I can't get over how big he is. He's really really big.
Benzo-13 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 He's like the big brown bear from that kid's programme..
Elisha_Scott Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 (edited) He is massive, like a big f***ing fridge. However, he is also a big dopey t***. Gerrard and Alonso were too sharp for him today, they read most of what he tried to do. Edited December 31, 2006 by Elisha_Scott
Ombudsam Posted December 31, 2006 Author Posted December 31, 2006 He is massive, like a big f***ing fridge. However, he is also a big dopey t***. Gerrard and Alonso were too sharp for him today, they read most of what he tried to do. They are exceptional players to be fair and for all his size (he's so big) he is only about 12 and has a lot of promise about him I think. I've only seen the footy first but it looks like your mate rediscovered some of his old form where he used to charge about the midfield making tackles. Encouraging to see I thought, i used to love it when he played like that.
CarraLegend Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 On another note, Zokora is s**** and how on earth is Paul Robinson still playing in goal for them with weight like that? He's always been someone you couldnt exactly call skinny but some of the goals he is letting in are all down to the fact the lardarse cant get down quick enough.

When he was still at Leeds, he had a medical at Arsenal with a view to signing. Anyway, Wenger sat in on it, when he got there, the first stage was to be weighed. The doctor told him to strip to his shorts before getting on the scales. He stripped and Wenger told him to get dressed as he had seen enough. Even before getting weighed he was out of the door.

I always wondered why he never went there as at the time he seemed a bargain and they needed a goalie.

He makes Paddy Kenny look svelte. He's getting found out more and more is Robinson. After his piss poor showing at the world cup, he's not got any better this season. Zokora has been so poor for them, Spurs fans can't wait for Jenas to get back to fitness, that's now bad it is.

Benitez Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 I thought all the Spurs fans rated him?? Seems a few aren't so happy with him. early days of course, bit rough to discount a player after 6 months. Reading a few comments on that thread and others on that forum, seems an issue some have is that he neither seems an attacking midfielder, or a good defensive one.

Had no idea there was a Murphy-esque level of debate about him.
Guest Scot Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Some bluenose relatives of mine were demanding to know why Moyes hasn't signed Murphy. He'd make them 'top 4 for sure' apparently.
