I'm sure they don't care what they done for Rangers cos their team is winning the league easily every year.

i think he's cuptied because hearts have played in europe. but his prospects with celtic are indeed better, assuming he sees a lot of first team starts.

You can sign a player who has played in a different Euro competition.

I don't think that that is right

I've heard they changed the rule last year or so as well.

Playing in UEFA won't bar you from the CL.

Not dead certain about it though.

He played in a CL qualifier though, does that stop him?

Seems a decent player from what ive seen, more heart that ability but alright all the same. Treated absolutely disgracefully by their t*** of a chairman, hope he scores the winner when the two play next.

As I recall it, it doesn't, but again, I am not entirely sure.

Chapter 8, Article 15.17 / 15.18

One player of the 3 newly registered players in the January window could have played in a different UEFA competition.

However, if he played in a CL qualifier then he's cup-tied.

Right about the qualities as a player, correct about the chairman being a t***, but will have to disagree with the treated disgracefully bit. He made his own bed there with that press conference. What was he expecting?

Hartley and Gordon (who sat either side of Pressley at the press conf HE called....if the club was that 'dictatorial', why didn't they stop it happening?) have since apologised and returned to playing (maybe on the proviso that they get their moves out of the club in the summer/next transfer window, who knows...), whereas 'Elvis' (THE captain) hasn't and was released by the club.

I know a lot of Jambos who, although not happy with Mr Romanov's stance(s), have been equally disappointed with what Pressley did. With hindsight it almost seems that Pressley thought he had more 'clout' than what he actually had. [A bit like in 'Old School', where Will Ferrell announces "We're going streaking!" and nobody following him as he runs off down the street...! :D]

They wanted Elvis to stay and fight for "his club". When the press conference 'stunt' didn't work, he shoulda bitten the bullet and actually been the Club Captain and worked his b0ll0x off to get the team working hard/performing again. That's what a Captain should do.

Anyway, all over now, wish him the best at the 'Tic (but not when they're playing the Jambos :) )
