It's a momentum thing surely. Getting the ball straight back to the centre circle gives the opposition less time to compose themselves again.

they should pretend theyve got cramp or start tying up their laces........amateurs.

If your losing 1-0 for instance and get a goal back why wouldnt you wanna go for the win specially if you need the points!? as said above seeing a team member giving a f*** may relay onto the rest of the players on the pitch!

 

Can't believe it was asked tbo its not hard to workout why players do it specially on a liverpool forum

 

need i remind you of two of the last finals liverpool were in!? pmsl
