Guest AnfieldGrass Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 (edited) MIss chance after chance, get outplayed by f***ing Blackburn. And worse than that we allow them to frustrate the f*** out of us. FFS. Bastion of invincibility? Or a pack of also-rans? Edited December 26, 2006 by AnfieldGrass
anny road Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 no we are not s*** we created enough to walk that we are not clinical but we are far from s***
_00_deathscar Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 We should've been 5-0 up after the first half for f***s sake. I guess it was just one of those days when nothing goes in...
realtarragona Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 We do have a lot of mediocrity in our squad but we're not s****. Our finishing is just absolutely woeful
George Costanza Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 no we are not s*** we created enough to walk that we are not clinical but we are far from s*** the Charlton game should have been a warning. A result like this was on the cards
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Our 2 problems: 1) Not clinical enough. 2) This season we fizzle out when we go behind.
anny road Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 the Charlton game should have been a warning. A result like this was on the cards i never said it wasnt i was answering the original point

Bastion of invincibility? Or a pack of also-rans?what rubbish.. outplayed.. are you blind and were listening to radio blackburn or whatever those farmers have there
4411 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Crouch's heading ability is feckin embarrassing!

Guest AnfieldGrass Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 (edited) Arsenal 6 - 2 BlackburnBlackburn 1 - 0 Liverpool withina week of each other. Arsenal would have done the same thing home or away at Ewood, don;t doubt it for a second. We have nothing like the passion, drive, determination like the other three top clubs in the prem, time to face facts, a long way to go, but as per the last 3 seasons, we are closer to the bottom than the top as far as quality. Edited December 26, 2006 by AnfieldGrass
Sion Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 we created enough to walk that See the thing is, recently we've needed something like 20 shots per goal, so in comparison with previous games we haven't. The thing I blame the most for today is Benitez and his tinkering. I mean what kinda formation was that. We play, win, score and don't concede playing a regular 4-4-2, but for some reason today we play 5-1-1-2-1
Bootle Buck Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Get in a Fecking Natural Goalscorer right now. It's amazing how many chances we squander game after game. teams that can win the premiership have to have clinical finishers something we lack.
Jeff guitar Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Brad Freidel - MOTM by an absolute country bumpkin mile he was the difference between us winning or not.

We're not at Chelsea or Man U's level of finishing games off this season, but not as good as Arsenal? Get real.
Cisse Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 (edited) Can you be banned for stupidity. I think it was 8-20 in chances on goal, for F*** sake Edited December 26, 2006 by Cisse
Dominus Maximus Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 We aren't s****. We're just not the best in the land. Third is still very realistic, but at some point we have to mount a serious title challenge. For now I wish we would get this takeover over with, and just spend a billion in the market. Buy some class FFS, and let them win the title for us. How many players in this lineup has acutally won a title? ReinaAgger HyppiaCarraRiiseAlonsoGerrardGonzalezFinnanCrouch Bellamy I know Agger has, unsure about Garcia, and Kuyt.

Rimbeux Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Horrible system without the players to play it properly, planned and executed badly and stuck with all game for reasons beyond me. You don't chase a game with five defenders on the pitch.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Soo pissed off! Crouch needs to f*** off to Newcastle the useless c***.
madaboutlfc Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Rafa is the problem.yeah he won the CL and FA cup too soon and reduced the gap from 37 to 9 points within 12 months and minimal investment.. hes the f***en problem

Guest AnfieldGrass Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 no we are not s*** we created enough to walk that Thats all fine and good, if the game was about creating. But it's not. It's about finishing. And our chances/goals ratio is pathetic. Half way through the season is a clear indication it is more than just a bad run. We are not good enough in the league. Fact. I would much rather us squander the cups and CL in order to get a good f***ing run in the league one season. IT IS THE BREAD AND BUTTER.
