magneto Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 http://www.breakingnews.ie/2006/12/20/story290110.html Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse, currently on loan at Marseille, insists his show of petulance after being substituted last weekend demonstrates his burning desire to be a success at the French club this season. The 25-year-old, who was playing only his second first-team match since breaking his leg while playing for France before the World Cup, was unhappy at being withdrawn during the second half of the 2-0 defeat to Nancy on Saturday. Cisse said: ?I regret my gestures, but that is my temperament. I said sorry and I shouldn?t have done it. ?They don?t want to take risks with me. But when you are a player, and you leave the pitch feeling you haven?t given everything you can, you don?t think like that. ?I didn?t come here to twiddle my thumbs, to play for a season and go back to England. I have targets and want to win titles.?

Bootle Buck Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 But when you are a player, and you leave the pitch feeling you haven?t given everything you can, you don?t think like that. He should be used to that feeling by now. Maybe Djibs you should take a look at your attitude before you are bounced out of another club.
Koogan Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I happened to see this incident on TV5 and it didn't look much like anything out of the ordinary to me.

M4TTA Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 i really cant wait till he's sold, sorry but his attitude stinks. Good luck Djib, but dont need stroppy knickers in our squad.
Walrus Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 He's scored against St. Etienne now. Marseille are 1 up.
Guest TanMan Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Meanwhile, somewhere in the south of France, Guy Roux chuckles to himself while sipping a cocktail
Mad_Fer_It Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Congrats to Cisse...Its always nice for a player to come back to fitness from such a horrible injury, he must feel so good after bagging that first goal!
hideNseek Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 So Cisse shows us yet again why he's been fecked off, well done son:-)
galés rojo Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 He's scored against St. Etienne now. Marseille are 1 up. I can see him finishing top scorer in France this season. Bangoura and Bodmer have eight if Cisse scores at the rate he usually does in ligue 1 he should be in with a decent chance.
Will Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Good luck Djib, but dont need stroppy knickers in our squad.Bellamy?
Guest levandier Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Cisse scored a hat trick against Cambrai in the French Cup. Nice to see him doing well after his injury woes.
Hassony Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 but he is a lazy b*****d unlike the hard working crouch
