L19red Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Poor lad. Even when he doesnt break a bone his body goes into some kind of seizure. Paul Jewell said it pretty much freaked out the whole team at half time when Kirkland started convulsing.

Benitez Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 From the Beeb: Wigan boss Paul Jewell claimed his players were affected by Chris Kirkland's injury: "He went into delayed shock at half time, and I've never seen anything like that. "There were six or seven paramedics around him, and I was trying to keep our players calm as he was taken to hospital. "They were obviously concerned about him in the second half, but he thankfully appears to be okay."
Cheesecake Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 feck, he did seem unconscious on motd after the challenge temporarily. looked like a knee to the head. Glass man jokes aside he got a bad knock, hope he's ok.
Murillo Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 did anyone see the Sevilla - Real match last night? Maresca was knocked out and clearly out of it. Still, they sent him back on TWICE so that he could jog around the center-circle looking like he didnt know where he was.... Hope Kirkland is OK btw..
