Just got back from the match

Just over 24 hrs in Istanbul, was nice to take an hour on the bus rather then a lot f***ing longer.

 

Why oh why did i fly to Sabiha Gokchen airport. Trip to Istanbul was fine just the t*** of a taxi driver on the way back.

 

On the way in we got a taxi to Kadikoy ferry terminal to go across the Bosphorous, and ferry turned back as they had a floater in the water, who was pulled out by another boat looking lifeless.

 

And can someone ban Anny Road from dancing in bars.

highlights of the trip

 

1. Tha Sah bar......quality establishment...we cleared the locals having a nice night out, then told the dj to sort his music out, which he did by playing YNWA, La Bamba & Sloop John B...Bad move as he then hasd to turn it off completley cause I wanted to sing

 

2. The restaurant we ate in on the 1st night, we ordered nothing appeared for 50 minutes when it became apparant that they were actually getting the food from another restaurant!

 

3. A@A falling for the oldest trick in the book..a show shine bloke drops his brush,. Andy runs after him to give it him back and the bloke is all thankful, starts cleaning andys shoes......then trys to charge him a tenner for the privilige

 

4. My camp danicing in the Louis Saha Bar.........

 

5. Finding an eatery called "MUNCH"...one letter away from perfection

 

6. Jon G trying to relieve the Louis Saha Memorial Bar of a bottle of wine hidden in his flag, only to drop it in the beer garded, walking off to leave the rest of to sort it out....

 

i was very very very drunk all the time and had a most eventful time....very good fun it was too

me and an Irish fella had to pull a body out of the Liffey when I was in Dublin. Thought he was still alive but he was well gone. I'll be glad if that never happens again as well!
