Cobs Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 was it Tyldsley who was w*nking himself into a frenzy on the commentary over his goal last night? Asking Rijkard afterwards - "have you ever seen a goal like that before?" to which Rijkard replied plainly "yes" sure i've seen that done before too but can't rememeber who exactly - anyone else? Fwiw it was a great goal and he disguised the shot, hitting it further back in his foot brilliantly but still.....
Guy_Incognito Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I've not seen it, but I hear he kicked it underneath the wall which jumped. Wasn't one of the Alaves goals against us in the UEFA Cup Final one of them?

Guest RedLegend Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I've seen it a few times. Can't remember most of them but I remember Alan Thompson at Celtic did it a few years ago. Thought they went completely OTT on it last night.
Coyler Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 F*cking idiots. McCoist should be shot many, many times in the face.
ChrisC Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Was it Jim Beglin who kept calling him ronaldo instead of ronaldinho last nite? The t**!
Cobs Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 His real name is Ronaldo.not according to wikipedia...
floyd Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Tyldsley was probably in a hyper state of ejaculation anyway, what with it being quite warm last night, in Barcelona for the time of year. Making it quite balmy.
Cobs Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 He never meant that Cobs, watch his run-up. knew i'd get you

Cobs Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 Haven't we scored (or almost scored) a goal like that in recent seasons?i'm sure there have been quite a few , i dunno if any were by us - it certainly wasn't one i'd never seen before
Murphman Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I scored an identical goal like that for The George (reserves) Slough in 1990. It was meant to go in the top corner but I didn't crack on.
RafaShanks Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Anyone got a link to it cause I can't find it anywhere
Bigal Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 i'm sure there have been quite a few , i dunno if any were by us - it certainly wasn't one i'd never seen before I reckon Gerrards versus everton 2 seasons ago at anfield
Cobs Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 I reckon Gerrards versus everton 2 seasons ago at anfieldkinda but not really - that was people charging down his shot rather than a wall jumping
Bigal Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 kinda but not really - that was people charging down his shot rather than a wall jumping went to blast it, spotted a gap, placed it there.
sean Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 But there was no gap when he struck the ball last night, he kind of hoped the wall would jump in unison and it did. As clever a free kick as I've seen in a long time.
