Larsson confirms United deal

Henrik Larsson has agreed to join Manchester United on a three-month loan in the New Year.

 

The Premiership leaders have moved for the Swedish striker to add cover to an attack currently short on options.

 

Larsson's current club Helsingborgs confirmed at a press conference that they had accepted an offer from United for the player to move to Old Trafford until March 12.

 

The deal will go through when the transfer window reopens in January and allows Larsson to maintain his match sharpness ahead of the Swedish domestic season which starts in April.

Remains to be seen although it looks a good deal on paper but 35, never played in the Prem, will probably be behind on match fitness to start with and he's only there 2 and a half months. Still seems an odd deal.

 

Maybe they have f*** all to spend like is suggested about us if we sign someone free or something.
