Why haven't Chelsea got a game this weekend?

Just doing my predictions for the competition (which is still going so swimmingly for me) and they ain't playing for some reason. Anyone know why?

Think its because they were due to play Newcastle but the barcodes are playing in the wafa cup tonight and Chelsea's Champions League match is next Tuesday, so if they played Saturday Newcastle would only have had a days rest, and vice versa for Chelsea if they played on Sunday.

if United beat Boro and Citeh they will be 9 pts clear the the top, of course Chelsea have games in hand but theres nothing like the pressure of having to win while your rival have got the points in the bag. Could have been 12 had United not f***ed things up on Sunday.

Cos they were meant to be playing Newcastle who played last night and they play on Tuesday so the break wouldn't have been long enough

I think they're down to play Newcastle, they have a Champions League game on Tuesday, whilst Newcastle had a UEFA Cup game last night meaning that oner team would have a 2 day break between games.

Except, oddly, Blackburn haven't had a game this week at all

 

Watford played Tuesday rather than Wednesday - they could have just played Blackburn on Sunday and then Sheff U on Wednesday!
