I've been saying for some time he would walk into most sides in Europe. Can't believe the mancs and Arsenal overlooked him.

One of the top three holding midfielders in the world, imo, and sadly the only genuine star player we have in denmark, though Agger seems to be getting there.

Your luck he pulled out of the Milan deal, pat. ;)

Gatuso and Makelele. Maybe Viera. To be honest, I think he's better than those. Got more to his game going forwards than those except maybe Viera.

Once he fine tunes his passing on the move he'll be awesome.

His arrival here has placed Sevilla on another level - players such as Adriano, Navas (before he was injured) Luis Fabiano, Kanoute and Renato are all benefiting from the space he creates for them.

The lad is just one hell of a player.

Wouldn't describe Gattuso as a holding midfielder really. He's too mobile and operates too far up the pitch. He's Milan's Momo.

he played differently for Italy at the WC though and was still awesome. Thought it brought the best out of Pirlo as well playing the pair in central midfield with Pirlo as the more advanced.

Kahlenberg could be something if only he finds himself a bigger club with better players around him. No disrespect to Auxerre as they're a decent team of which I have a lot of time for, but he needs to move to a bigger club if he wants to step up his level.

Agger is going to be THE best Danish international in the foreseeable future though

Btw. look out for Lumb, Krabbe and Gjesing ;)
