Thing is, when the opposition have no attacking intent and few numbers forward its easy for defenders to look good. Agger deserves first place because he actually did as much going forward as most of hte midfield and attack by carrying the ball on positively and at times setting up opportunities.

 

Those MOMs are as much an indictment of our midfield and attack as anything. In all honesty if there was a 4th spot I'd have given it to Finnan, another defender.
