New York Red Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Not settled in at West Ham Only 22 Tough centre midfielder Needs some discipline possibly (Rafa would be perfect) I think he'd be a great call for us.
Guest BrianF Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Too much politics going on with those two. They are only at West Ham until someone offers big money and that won't be us.
Tones Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 There is way too much politics with those two. Plus i think he would cost a bit too much for us.
Herbie von Smalls Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 (edited) i thought players couldn't be transferred between clubs within the same league twice in the same season. Edited November 23, 2006 by Herbie von Smalls
hagi_complex Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Looked a very good player in the WC. Too much political baggage surrounding him though, and as Herbie pointed out, it's not even an option under the rules.
Guest Kev Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 He'll be at Chelsea soon, West Ham is just as stop gap.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 He is too good and too young. I don't think it is sustainable to have four central midfielders with that profile all with their best years ahead of them at the club.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 (edited) How can anyone be too good for us? None of them would be happy being fourth choice nor should have they have to be. They could go to other major clubs and be higher up the hierarchy than that. Try and rotate them so all will get games and someone will still be disatisfied with the role in the squad. Guest ziggystardust Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 complete and total water carrier, creates nothing has no goal threat but keeps the game moving nicely along
Hodgson for Chelsea Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 He'll be at Chelsea soon, West Ham is just as stop gap. I think you're right, something stinks about that deal that took them to West Ham. Having said that he's a decent player and we need cover for Sissoko. Does anyone know how much he'd cost? Who ACTUALLY owns him?
DJM Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 That Kir Jooarbichin or whatever he's called owns half of him apparently. Top or bottom half I dunno. When this Icelandic chap comes in both Argies will be sold. £30m each is what is being asked
Rimbeux Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 He's more than a decent player,, the circumstances and situation the money men have placed him in have really masked his quality. Players are not robots, it's just a shame these players have not been able to make moves for at least some shread of a football reason.

When this Icelandic chap comes in both Argies will be sold. £30m each is what is being asked I think even Chelsea would flinch at that price now!
