Strangely I don't need the Magic 8 Ball to predict he might disappear for a few days, before resurfacing next time Rooney scores a goal, to go grave digging through the depths of the forum and drag up a thread from the mists of time.

Stunned like most United fans, although things can easily be blamed on the the disgusting dive by Jarosik, United should have taken advantage when we were on top and that was for most of the game. Now things could get very sticky against Benfica on the 6th, ain't it just typical of United to do things the hard way. :)

Roll on Chelsea. :cooler:

He didn't dive.

Interpret it the way you want, it clearly wasn't a foul.

Nothing to be too upset about. Everyone that loves the game of football knows that was not a foul, but also the freekick was perfect and a great goal, so what goes around comes around. Well done Celtic.

I thought United were fantastic in the first half without scoring a goal. The passing and movement was top drawer. In fact its the best I have seen us play in a couple of years.

Saha, although very skillfull, strong on the ball and fast, once again showed he is no good in a one on one situ with the goalkeeper. I never thought he would miss the pen though. Did aanyone notice the one and a half step forward the goalkeeper did as he saved the penalty. Still, the ref never saw it and the rest as they say is history.

I dont feel to bad because our first eleven proved we are still one of the top teams, but I do have a problem when I look at the bench. Jesus, and injuries or suspensions and we are in deep s***.

I cant see us losing the benfica game at OT, so all is well atm at OT.

When Parky and 20LEGEND return from injury things will improve on the bench, and Rossi will also return in January from his loan spell at Newcastle. I hope he brings Scott Parker with him. :D

I agree when Scholes dove it wasn't a foul and the resulting penalty wasn't either.

Mind you - you're a myopic Manc so no doubt you didn't "See" either of those decisions - just the one that the nasty wasty weferwee gave against Ooo

Did anyone see it was a dive by Scholes and not a free kick that led to the pen? Or that the pen was the most debatable one I've ever seen

And neither was your penalty a penalty, so it even things out doesn't it.

Well, you got a penalty in similar situations at old trafford against celtic didnt you? giggs wasnt really touched but got the penalty?

Also, if you go through the back of someone, you risk a foul, it was a thick tackle

Alot of Glams seem to forget that they only beat Celtic through a Giggs dive, but that's quite good for me as I have really enjoyed reminding them today.

They should all be grateful, anyway, cos they should really be out on away goals today...

I thought it was a decent game. Celtic looked good when in possession, Stracham has got them playing well.

I jumped out of my seat when the pen was saved Celtic have always been my Scottish team ( being a left footer and all)

What really made the night for me, though , was seeing the Celtic fans singing YNWA - now that's the way to rub it in

Loved that.

And the fact that it wasn't a free kick made it even sweeter.

YNWA was great, they had to put up with United singing their "Hallo, Hallo" song all during the first half when Celtic were scheidt.

And of course, the Heysel songs again as usual.
