Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 C'mon you hoops!!!!!! Lets hope they injure a few mancs too
Benitez Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 this side of the draw is chooooooooooite! There are no game there that grabs me ( ). It would have been Real Madrid v Lyon - but both have qualified. Can't stand watching Man Utd and Celtic, being as I can't stick either, so it aint the same Guess I'll end up watching Arsenal stuff Hamburgers for a bit.
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Guess I'll end up watching Arsenal stuff Hamburgers for a bit. And laugh at the the amount of missed chances, then ponder how they managed to score 3 past us
Benitez Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 Half time:CSKA Moscow 0 - 1 FC Porto
Michael Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Even though Arsenal will almost certainly win tonight, I reckon they won't qualify from the group. Add to that that Chelsea may decide that losing tomorrow is their best way of eliminating Barca and both last year's finalists may fail to reach the knockout stages.
McBain Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I think i'm right in saying that a Porto win tonight would mean that even if Arsenal win against Hamburg, they'll still need to get something in their last game away at Porto to go through. Assuming CSKA beat the whipping boys Hamburg
Benitez Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 2-0 now to Porto, excellent goal from Lucho. Even though Arsenal will almost certainly win tonight, I reckon they won't qualify from the group. Add to that that Chelsea may decide that losing tomorrow is their best way of eliminating Barca and both last year's finalists may fail to reach the knockout stages. I think Porto and Arsenal go through. Porto winning comfortably now, Arsenal will win easily tonight as well. So that will be them two on 10 points. Hamburg will end up getting ONE win in their final game against CSKA. And Porto - Arsenal will end up drawing. CSKA have lost Wagner Love now as well from that last game, suspended (unfairly it has to be said, wrongly booked for diving) That Lucho blokey who captains Porto is a class player.
R A Softlad Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 The a*** should win at home to a dissappointing Hamburg. :kissofdeath:

Barca only have to do their job and the Bremen - Chelsea result is irrelevant, if Barca win both games they're through, cant see Chelsea helping out although obviously they wont be distraught if they get beat anyway as they're through and have Levski at home to win the group. Conchis Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Sounds a decent atmosphere at Parkheed tonight.

Bootle Buck Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I thought we'd signed him NO! that was Dick Van Dyke
Benitez Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 (edited) John Carew puts Lyon ahead, excellent goal, although chit defending by Canavarro. Edited November 21, 2006 by Benitez
Bootle Buck Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Celtic are playing like us. No urgency and lots of square balls along the defence.
