Guest Anders Honoré Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 would be a real coup for them, but I can't see it happening. If West Ham played like they did last year with the added quality of the two argies, it might be realistic as it would make them a very attractive stepping stone. Not as they are now though.
The Hitman Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Huntelaar would get battered in the Premiership. He's absolutely tiny.
Ronnie Whelan Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Says he's 6"1 on sky sports! Pretty Boy is 9"7'. The January transfer window is only a few weeks away, so no surprise that newcastle are linked to someone who will not go to them.
The Hitman Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I meant as in physical presence, not height. The guy has got no muscle to speak of,his chest is absolutely tiny.
McBain Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 And when he doesn't sign., he'll say he wasn't interested anyway. Huntelaar has a big future ahead of him. He wouldn't piss it away joining a club destined for relegation

sammy knucklz Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I meant as in physical presence, not height. The guy has got no muscle to speak of,his chest is absolutely tiny. didn't stop Patsy Kensit much did it tho? or her from them Corrs, for that matter.
Ronnie Whelan Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 didn't stop Patsy Kensit much did it tho? or her from them Corrs, for that matter. Or your one from Will and Grace. I still would.
sammy knucklz Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Or your one from Will and Grace. I still would. never seen it mate, so therefore never seen her either. mind you, i've never been too fussy so aye, i still would too.

What's Roeder got to do with West Ham?
sammy knucklz Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Thats her there mate. In that case, nah, she's way not good enough for me...
Sion Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Newcastle claim interest in striker they have no chance of getting shocker! He would cost £15-20m also.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 What's Roeder got to do with West Ham? Hello, my name is Anders2 and I am a dimensional traveller. I seem to have blown my cover by assuming Roeder was still the manager of West Ham in this timeline. Unfortunately, I killed the original Anders to set up this cover, so I guess you're stuck with me.
tomasjj Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 I meant as in physical presence, not height. The guy has got no muscle to speak of,his chest is absolutely tiny. Like Crouchy then
The Hitman Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Like Crouchy then It's a lot easier to batter about a 6ft 1 beanpole than it is a 6ft 7 beanpole.
Leo No.8 Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 (edited) Ah the famous Newcastle transfer tango, my favourite dance of them all. Here is how it plays out... Step One: Newcastle bat eyelids at bIG NamE player, declare interest and asks mate (agent) if he wants to dance. Step Two: Player looks briefly but longingly at proper big clubs milling round elsewhere on the dancefloor - tells mate he'll dance with Newcastle but to have a word with clubs he really fancies. Hopefully they will become jealous and make their move. Step Three: Player tells Newcastle how he is quite interested in them. Says in voice audible across the dancefloor that they are one of a number who he is interested in copping off with. Step Four: Its time for the slowy and Newcastle makes move by asking on a date, offering a slap-up meal in Heathcotes and all the champagne he can drink. Mate, taps him on shoulder and makes him aware of big clubs dancing provocatively nearby. Step Five: Big NamE tells Newcastle he'll definitely consider going on a date, but he just needs to go to the little boys room a minute to powder his nose. Step Six: Newcastle is sitting down by the dancefloor looking at watch, wondering just what could be taking so long? Heads over to ask mate where he is, who says last time he saw him he was outside the front of the club, then puts hand over mouth and sniggers to himself as he watches Newcastle head off. Step Seven: To Newcastle's horror, arrive outside to find BiG Name swapping contracts with Barcelona / Real Madrid / Liverpool / Milan / Arsenal, who then winks and says sorry you were really nice, but I just like you as a friend. Newcastle return to club, try to hide disappointment with big fake smile. Step Eight: Newcastle get the last dance with previously hot player, who has been in a turbulent, unsuccesful relationship with a big club and is now looking worn and rough round the edges; player is searching desperately for anyone who can to take them out and treat them nice - he's just not sure how much he can offer in return. Step Nine: Swaps contracts with Newcastle under the disco ball, who profess undying love and that they always wanted him and only him all along because of his fit pace. Step Ten: Newcastle brings whole family to meet new player on first date to sing his name and watch him do keepy-ups. Player wonders just where it went wrong in his once highly promising career to end up with this lot. Makes up mind there and then to give no more than 50% at any stage of their relationship and hope one say he looks good enough for a big club to take him back... Edited November 22, 2006 by Leo No.8
Benitez Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Antoine Sibierski has proved to be their best signing in 2 seasons £60 mill on Duff, Boumsong, Owen, Emre, Luque, Martins, Parker. But Sibierski is priceless, hehe.
