Good for him, I still hope Barca win the league though.

 

Was very surprised Madrid and Bayern were the only teams after him, £12m is a great price for somebody who will get you 30 goals a season. He just didn't fit into our style at United and he deserves to play for Real Madrid, wish him all the best.

Do you doubt that we thought Ruud was fantastic? We loved the guy.

But he wanted to go, and like you lot we feel that if he is not a red the bye bye. Move on. That is what we have done. He did not play well last season. He did not try. Its easy to score lots of goals when you are being set up with chance after chance.

He put a transfer request in after the Arsenal FA Cup final and made it clear he did not want to stay.

He was lazy last season, then when he scored he did the old badge kissing routine as if to say "Hey you will be f***ed without me" Guess what? We aint.

 

Thanks Ruud for all the fantastic memories. Hope you do well at Madrid.

 

None of them from outside the area though. ;)

There was one from just outside last season or the season before. Should have been disallowed for an elbow on the bloke he took the ball off on the left wing, though.

 

So he is a decent striker after all.
