floyd the barber Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 seems the fans have really taken to him... NOW with sissoko out, isnt it time to recall the sheriff???? would certainly add a bit of bite and be a whole lot better than zenden..... in my opinion, he wasnt given that many chances as a center mid....c`mon maybe im insane, still.....hes still our player and we need some f***ing grit right now... check out these coments from the stoke fans... http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=9...ytoid=530803167 OldStokie Posted on 7/11 10:02 Email this Message | Reply re: Salifs lovin it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Diao...what a player! He makes hard things look simple. He won't win many MOM awards because he's the kind of player you hardly see in a game. He's like an orchestral conductor. You won't realise how important he is until he's not there. He's my kind of player. I love watching class players. OS. fornside Posted on 7/11 10:04 Email this Message | Reply re: Salifs lovin it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mick I was just thinking last night that he wouldn't win many MOTM awards - but he doesn't seem to have bad games either. That sort of consistency in the middle of the park is something we have been crying out for, for as long as I can remember. 1STEINO Posted on 7/11 10:18 Email this Message | Reply re: Salifs lovin it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lst night Salif had a 100% pass completion. He is exactly what was missing. We need to do everything possible to keep him IMHO!! 1steino stokie1000 Posted on 7/11 10:38 Email this Message | Reply re: Salifs lovin it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------yes diao is fantastic, and i also think he would accept wages of 7-8 grand p/wsome of the balls he plays are fantastic, and he is calm on the ball, we need him on a perminent as much as hendrie, same with griff too stokie1000 Posted on 7/11 10:39 Email this Message | Reply re: Salifs lovin it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------yes diao is fantastic, and i also think he would accept wages of 7-8 grand p/wsome of the balls he plays are fantastic, and he is calm on the ball, we need him on a perminent as much as hendrie, same with griff too EDIT, hes our viera bayernoatcake Posted on 7/11 14:11 Email this Message re: Salifs lovin it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Diao is class. He mops up the lose balls, controls it one touch and passes it with the next. He is a joy to watch in the middle with his controlled passing, calm head and class. Out the of the loans he was the one I was most sceptical about. But he has proven what a top player he is! Carry on with the good work lad! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the above is only just touching on some of the praise he is getting!!
Jimi Rojo Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 After watching poor old Zenden recently - bring the fecker back!
anny road Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 sell Alonso Bring Diao back youre a f***ing loony
Guest Anders Honoré Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I am fond of Diao, but in the 'so sad it is funny' kind of way. I wouldn't object to seeing back in the red shirt but let's not go overboard here. He is not any kind of solution to any imagined or real midfield problems.
dorgie Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 and maybe bring Diouf and Cheyrou back too. All the solutions are on here these past 36 hours or so.
anny road Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 and maybe bring Diouf and Cheyrou back too. All the solutions are on here these past 36 hours or so. and Le Tallec
Nebraska Red Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 all those posts are from Diao's Mum. they have to be.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 (edited) I am picturing Salif himself logging on to ynwa, figuring he can resurrect his career by suggesting we sell alonso and bring him back from stoke along with a few quotes he has nipped about how brilliant he is one league down. Bootle Buck Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 He won't come back until we sign Diouf to keep him company.
Cam Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Imagine Gerrard's bottom lip hitting the floor as he's stuck out wide to accommodate Diao! And Diao acceting £7/8k a week!!!!
Bootle Buck Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 We have not been the same since we let Diomede go. Let's re-sign him.
floyd the barber Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 i must apologise....mr diao borrowed by laptop earlier today and decided to log in under my name... i notice he has been causing some chaos on the forums... dont worry i have spoken with the sheriff, he shall avoid using my username and this forum in the future... git
stressederic Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 and maybe bring Diouf and Cheyrou back too. All the solutions are on here these past 36 hours or so. Diouf will have to get past me and my machete.
psl Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Nevermind the new Vieria, I don't know who the old one was.
Leo No.8 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I can only presume in light of his recent performances that poster was trying to say 'Salif's been on that new viagra'. He's their midfield hard man...
