Arsenals new ground

Was it just me or did anyone else think that their new ground looked like a big bland pit with the pitch far too far away from the seats?

 

I was cringing when Sky Sports were w***ing over it - hopefully the boys designing our new ground are looking at their for 101 tips of things NOT to do

I was surprised by all those bare concrete sides to the stands. I don't know if they are going to do something for next season, but if I were Arsenal, I would ask the fans to bring in banners, flags or whatever to hang over the sides. I saw a few, but not many.

 

The amount of corporate seating was incredible though.

I think it looks very impressive has great seats with loads of legroom, nice bars, decent toilet facilities, loads of TVs about the place and yet it does lack something; there is something very benign about it as a venue, not what I would want for Liverpool.

Looked far too welcoming and gently sloping on the telly. I think Rafa alluded to this a while ago. There appeared to be nothing of the cauldron about it.
