get a few players in who might have what is needed (although I doubt Mclaren has a clue about that) and give them a chance.

 

FFS, he knows what Lampturd, Gerrard, Terry, frog face, Crouch and Waynetta can do. It's a friendly, not a qualifier, and the first choice players are hardly gong to give 100%. So what if you go in and lose, that result will only pi** off the rags and SKY.

Not that I give that much of a shoite like, but he is a very underrated player, and he's capable of playing in defence as well as midfield, handy player!

Think he said last time that Carson will get better experience playing in the U-21s than on the bench in the seniors. Of course the obvious solution would be, see as it's a friendly, trying him out in the first 11, but that would endanger the useless status of the cash generating friendlies.

Carson can play for the U21's, Foster is a couple years too old for that malarky. So i guess he's better suited to sitting on benches. Makes sense really, cos Carson is better served playing matches.

 

 

The England goalie job is surely there to be won. Robinson isn't a very good goalie, just that he's been the best of a bad bunch recently.

surely the line up with include foster, nevillex2, rio, brown, wayne, lampard, carrick and downing for his reign. add in any other ex manc players or boro players who happen to shine.

 

People need to realise that Gerrard and Carra are only there because they have to be, not because he wants them there. By playing Gerrard on the right, he gives fatty and carrick a chance to become first choice inthe middle. then he 'rests' gerrard and gives lennon a chance on the right, and shows that he's better for the team, then job done. Gerrard out of the team and there as cover for fatty.
