Guest efcrmagic Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Why have they such a terrible away support? 3rd most successful club in England, one of the biggest in Europe, the best footballing side in Europe and yet they bring about 8 fans with them to away games. Well not all, I admit, they do sell out a fair few but for say midweek matches away from home "up north" it's woeful. Even in the Champions League Final, they took the 19k allocation and that was it, they made no noise either. Pity, because as a club, Arsenal are wonderful. <please insert Everton jokes here, any, whatever the subject, someone is bound to have one somewhere, anything, anyone?>
RP Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 They obviously don't send fans to the s***tier grounds. Not sure what you mean about the European Cup Final - there were thousands and thousands of Arsenal fans watching the game in bars in Paris who had travelled over trying to get tickets. The day that Arsenal/any fans gladly take criticism from you bitter c****s over selling out allocations for a European Cup Final is a long long way off. Unless of course you want to blame Heysel ....

So is yours and on Saturdays aswell, you never sell out Newcastle, you never sell out Boro (You actually got close this year though), you've filled Blackburn about once in 6 years and couldnt even fill it for your first away this season, Man Utd for you is always without fail on general sale, you didnt fill Man City last season, you took about a 1000 to Bolton and the excuse was "Villareal away", its amazing how the "peoples club" cant sell out local allocations, then theres the Carling Cup stuff, same ticket prices, we get a sell out, would you like to remind us what you got? Not to mention it was nowhere near sold out last night either. Your away support is ok in London, everywhere else its s****. If you're wondering how I know all this, its an easy comeback for when you lot and my mates throw the "peoples club" s**** about. The bottom line is us and Utd piss all over everyone from a great height regarding away support and that should be an end to the matter. Look at the away end on December 26th at Blackburn, you'll see what it looks like rammed. Edit : And you only sell out Derbies because we take the last of the tickets when it hits general. As a put-down, does it get anymore complete than that?

John am Rhein Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 <please insert Everton jokes here, any, whatever the subject, someone is bound to have one somewhere, anything, anyone?> If Everton were playing in my garden, I'd close the curtains! Arsenal is a sh*t club with w*nker fans.
