Andy @ Allerton Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Shouted the headlines after his jammy hattrick. Well - given he was on the pitch for 90 minutes against the defensive might and midfield maestro-y of FC Copenhagen..

Maldini Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 He does go missing a hell of a lot though and it never gets mentioned (apart from Andy) He's nearly as bad as Ronaldo in that respect.
fyds Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 He does go missing a hell of a lot though and it never gets mentioned (apart from Andy) He's nearly as bad as Ronaldo in that respect. Is true...and when he completely balls up a pass, shot, tackle - 'well he's really such a talent in one so young' 'the precariousness of youth' 'when you're as good as Rooney, you can try anything'...never 'what a crappy pass', 'what on earth was he trying from there?' or 'Oh dear, how in God's name did he miss from there?' he gets a lot of slack rather than flack from the media.
Internationinteroperability Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Linderoth had him in his pocket for 90 minutes last night. Great performance from the former Toffeefififee
Tosh Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 'Oh dear, how in God's name did he miss from there?' I am sorry. ALL such quotes this morning are reserved for Arsenal players
Eskimo Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Did I hear right, he hasn't scored a CL goal in 2 years.?
jon_hall Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Did I hear right, he hasn't scored a CL goal in 2 years.? And a meaningful goal for England for over three i think.
madaboutlfc Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 And a meaningful goal for England for over three i think.cant be hes better than anyone in the universe
Ostrich Man Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 cant be hes better than anyone in the universewho has ever said that.
Guest Jude Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 who has ever said that. Some grannie from Liverpool.
NWR Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Shouted the headlines after his jammy hattrick. Well - given he was on the pitch for 90 minutes against the defensive might and midfield maestro-y of FC Copenhagen.. Sack him and Giggs. Fergie out. United in decline. Wohooo!
anny road Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Sack him and Giggs. Fergie out. United in decline. Wohooo! you were f***ing rubbish last night
NWR Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 you were f***ing rubbish last night That good? I thought we were worse than that.
Guest Terkop Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 you were f***ing rubbish last night Aren't United allowed a careless performance? They only need a point anyway and they've got a home game to come against Benfica so they're fine. If anything, this game showed the lack of cover and having the likes of JSP, Giggs, Saha and Neville out doesn't help, the players who were playing clearly didnt take the game seriously and I can't blame them tbh. Was a different team from the team which thrashed Bolton 4-0 at the Reebok, incidentally a fixture where Liverpool lost 2-0.
anny road Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 That good? I thought we were worse than that. not like me i know but I was being polite

Guest Terkop Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 (edited) Oh and as for Rooney, he needs to play with a striker that has a lot of movement off the ball and pace to burn, with all due respect to Solskjaer, he is no Saha. Looking forward to seeing the best striking pair in the league link up again on Saturday and terrorise yet another victim in United's march towards the title. Edited November 2, 2006 by Terkop

I would have thought you would rather sit and watch you`re mid table strike force ply their trade. Funny. Its usual for United v Liverpool to be a top of the table clash, not United v Portsmouth. Phew, Saha and Rooney must be doing something right.
Bigal Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 NWR, not sure this lad is a liverpool fan. Could be a bolton fan?
