4411 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Classic! Barcelona are winning and 6 minutes are added on, then Chelsea score and the ref ends the game after 5!
Guest Sabre Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Poor from Barca. Had the ball in the right wing position and the pass infield was so horribly careless and Chelsea go up the other end and score.
windy city red Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 (edited) and predictable. Edited October 31, 2006 by windy city red
Falconhoof Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 4 points out of 6 against Barca. Not too bad. Looking good for the thieving Russian gangsters.
jfogarty Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The lads on RTE said the match was a disgrace and Mourinho/Chelsea are a cancer/poison in football and they bring shame to the English game
D.Boon Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Townsend making good points about moronho always having to be the centre of attention win, lose or draw. c***
Guest RedLegend Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The lads on RTE said the match was a disgrace and Mourinho/Chelsea are a cancer/poison in football and they bring shame to the English game They tore Chelsea/Mourinho a new one. In contrast to ITV who had their collective tongues wedged firmly between Mourinho's buttocks.
DonRafa Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The lads on RTE said the match was a disgrace and Mourinho/Chelsea are a cancer/poison in football and they bring shame to the English game Have'nt seen the match yet. Any particular reasons for their comments? (apart from they're Russian rentboys etc )
Taipan Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Have'nt seen the match yet. Any particular reasons for their comments? (apart from they're Russian rentboys etc )It was a totally disgraceful performance of diving and cheating from both sets of players. The Barcelona players were every bit as bad, if not worse, than Chelsea's. The ref was largely responsible though, because he kept falling for the dives and giving free kicks and cards so both sets of players kept doing it. In the previous Barca / Chelsea game the ref didn't give free kicks for the dives, so the players quickly stopped diving. As far as the game was concerned, Barca were on top for the first 15 minutes, but after that Chelsea had the better of the play and created more and better chances. Robben in particular missed two great chances from just outside the six yard box with only the keeper to beat.
jfogarty Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Have'nt seen the match yet. Any particular reasons for their comments? (apart from they're Russian rentboys etc ) Havent seen it myself but Dunphy and the lads were saying it was a battle to see who were the better cheats than footballers Fattie Arbuckle just said he meant his goal
R A Softlad Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Townsend making good points about moronho always having to be the centre of attention win, lose or draw. c*** Turning on the 'breath of fresh air' are they - about time.
jimmylibel Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Have'nt seen the match yet. Any particular reasons for their comments? (apart from they're Russian rentboys etc ) Their basic argument was that Mourinho had ruined what should have been a brilliant match with his pre-match comments and that once again he was trying to be the centre of attention.
Andy @ Allerton Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Someone in the pub after the game said that Joe Cole had been booked twice but not sent off - anyone know anything about that?
jimmylibel Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Someone in the pub after the game said that Joe Cole had been booked twice but not sent off - anyone know anything about that? I think there was a suggestion that Ashley Cole had been booked twice but the ref had just gotten him mixed up with Lampard. Easy mistake obviously.
