CarraLegend Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Fair play. A lot would just whinge, moan and whatever but he's been honest and its nice to read for a change. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...d=2&title=O "I thought they were absolutely splendid," O'Neill told Sky Sports News. "We didn't play well and that doesn't help of course, but they were absolutely splendid." "They knocked it about terrifically and their form at Anfield is absolutely magnificent." "We could have helped ourselves a bit and we tried to in the second half. We got back into the game 3-1, but in the 90 minutes it was a lesson for us. " "We are aspiring to where Liverpool are, but that will take some time."
Otocon Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 That's why Martin O'Neill is considered an intelligent manager.
Sion Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 I would have him down as my first choice replacement if Rafa left. Sadly I think him and Hughes'll fight out for the United job once red nose leaves, and he's likely to get it.
kacangpool Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Sadly I think him and Hughes'll fight out for the United job once red nose leaves, and he's likely to get it. Nah Curbishly is already waiting in the wings for that job. Or maybe Sven.
Bootle Buck Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Nah Curbishly is already waiting in the wings for that job. Or maybe Sven. Curbishly will be taking the WHU job in the next fe weeks if they don't start winning.

IgPig Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 My old man knows him from his childhood. Reckons he's a decent bloke, but perhaps not the sharpest tool in the box. Think he got expelled from the school they were at or something.
Spike Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 A@A was saying how much he loves O'Neill earlier today. He'll be saddened to hear that M O'N gives the opponents any credit.

We've found someone who out talks Andy, and kept him quiet all night. f***ing bliss
jon_hall Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Mr Neville's sister. We've never seen Andy so quiet.
Stevie H Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Andy has found a waythat's because andy is a plum.
DonRafa Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 how can you not like o'neill? top man. Yep, he really is. I've met him, we spoke at length about LFC and Nott.F's glory days. He has genuine respect and admiration for our club's tradions and historyA charming, down to earth guy. I have a lot of time for him
Benitez Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 O'Neill used to wind me up when he was at Celtic, but that was maybe more the Celtic factor that was winding me up But now I'm pleased he's back in managment, cos he does come across as one of the more intelligent and sensible of managres, rather than one of the many tosspot managers that are a disease in this league.
Andy Mac Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Liverpool have the best manager in Europe (bar none) O'Neill isn't fit to lace Rafa's boots.
