The Lilywhites have made it in to the first round proper of the FA Cup. They beat conference high flyers Grays Athletic 2-1 AWAY!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::yes:

AFC Wimbledon have crashed out to Exeter

We're going in a mini-bus to the FA Cup game, Gillingham is an easy ground to park near to.

I'll resurrect this thread near to the AFC game - should be a cracker

I'm in lads.

Goldberg is doing a s*** hot job this year,I've no idea how?!? Top of the league,in the FA Cup.

The best Bromley side in my living memory.

Their website is cracker, too. They show highlights of the previous games complete with people screaming as either they or the opposition get near the goal :D

Edit: Link added for anyone who is interested http://www.bromleyfc.co.uk/

Who are AFC Wimbledon playing today :lol::lol:

Think we're going to get tonked by at least 5 goals. Wish us luck anyway...

Would have liked to have gone to this, but with going to the game tomorrow I've got to show willing to the family cause today. All the best. Hope Bromley win.

I'll defo take in a Bromley home game soon, though

Gutting game, it was 50:50 but lost 4-1.

Superb to get a goal and could've been much closer. 1400 fans travelled in the end, fantastic for a non-league side in an away game :applause:

Bromley Town has the capability to me much bigger than it is.It's one of the largest London boroughs, possibly the largest, with relatively few decent sides in the area. There certainly isn't a dominant Premiership side to watch, and there won't be a Premiership team this side of the river next season,in my opinion.

Well done to the players,a great effort Goldberg's doing a top job there,he seems a real football man.Apparently lost £40m at Palace.

Tanny, what was the atmosphere like,I know Gillingham can be a bit of a tough place to visit!

The atmosphere was rubbish, not helped by the fact that they cocked up the seating and had to open the othe half of the stand to accomodate the extra fans. A small band of renegades diehard fans then accumulated behind the goal and promptly got ejected one by one by the over zealous stewards

'You live in a caravan' was the most often sung song by us, as well as 'who the f*cking hell are you?' We're black, we're white, we're f*cking dynamite, brom-er-ley, brom-er-ley.

Totally agree with you about the fan base and how much larger the club could be. It wont be, but could be ;)
