ynwa.tv Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Down Memory Lane Meet the Referee Double Agents
Sion Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I want to see. Reina Finnan Carragher Agger Riise Gerrard Alonso Momo Aurelio Kuyt Bellamy Full backs have been suspect, Aurelio LM (if fit) would sure that up. If not fit Garcia should play.
Hobbsie Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 (edited) I'd go for: Reina Finnan Carragher Agger Riise Pennant Gerrard Momo Garcia* Kuyt Crouch *tempted to play Bellamy on the wing Edited October 27, 2006 by Hobbsie
CarraLegend Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Liverpool 4 Aston Villa 1 Kuyt 27Kuyt 56 Baros 62Gerrard 77Kuyt pen 88 Fact.
Tyler Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I think Crouch has to start. Has been scoring goals. Play him up front with Garcia in behind him and Gonzalez(if fit) out wide
MarkD Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I'd play; Reina FinnanCarragherAggerWarnock GerrardAlonsoSissokoReina FowlerCrouch
Red2Core Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Liverpool trio Craig Bellamy, Dirk Kuyt and Fabio Aurelio are all set to miss out with calf injuries. Winger Mark Gonzalez is sidelined by a groin problem while Harry Kewell (groin and foot) is a long-term absentee. Aston Villa team news to follow later. Liverpool (from): Reina, Martin, Finnan, Carragher, Agger, Warnock, Paletta, Hyypia, Riise, Luis Garcia, Gerrard, Zenden, Sissoko, Xabi Alonso, Pennant, Crouch, Fowler. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/6072868.stm
Guest DanL Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 ..bearing in mind Aurelio / Bellamy / Gonzalez all unfit I'd go for : Reina Finnan Carra Agger Warnock Momo Pennant Riise Gerrard Crouch Kuyt ..but reckon rafa will go for no Pennant and gerrard on right, Alonso in middle (unforunately given his woeful form). I can't see anyone bar Riise on the left with warnock at left back. If garcia gets a game after possibly the worst performance I've ever seen in a Liverpool shirt against Man utd last week I'd be amazed.
Andy @ Allerton Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Unlike all the Oirish and pretend-Oirish fans on here I hope we give Villa a good stuffing
oakie bob Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I'd play; Reina FinnanCarragherAggerWarnock GerrardAlonsoSissokoReina FowlerCrouch When did we clone Reina
MarkD Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 When did we clone Reina I see you picked up on the Riise/Reina double bluff.
Stevie H Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Liverpool trio Craig Bellamy, Dirk Kuyt and Fabio Aurelio are all set to miss out with calf injuries. that's annoying.
Gilps Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Given who's missing with injury I think we'll see Garcia off Crouch with Fowler on the bench.
Cooldude Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 These are the sorta games where Robbie can start, him and Crouch looked good partnering together and they'll probably get another chance now
Sion Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 (edited) Kuyt'll still play methinks Edited October 27, 2006 by Sion
M4TTA Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Liverpool trio Craig Bellamy, Dirk Kuyt and Fabio Aurelio are all set to miss out with calf injuries. With Bellamy injured we have Fowler, Kuyt and Crouch and it's a good problem for me when I decide who will start." sauce
KD07 Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Kuyt's got to play hasn't he? His arl man is coming over to watch the match IIRC.
Romario Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 1-1 I reckon. Not that it matters really. Can't be arsed with league games at the moment.
Hector McDougal Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 I fear that O'Neil will put 10 behind the ball and play for a draw. It'll be up to us to break them down.
Romario Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 I fear that O'Neil will put 10 behind the ball and play for a draw. It'll be up to us to break them down.If they do that then we're f***ed.
Conor Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 I'd sat its more than likely O'Niell will try and put everyone behind the ball and counter.. This is going to be a really tough test for us today.. Petrov is a super player and we'll have to be at our best defensively to keep them out.
