Andy @ Allerton Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 hilarious Really cheered me up that - the idea that the Mancs are going to pay £100k+ a week for ten years for that waster. Brilliant
Internationinteroperability Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Why is it again that he can sign a ten-year contract? I thought the maximum length was five years?
Ostrich Man Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Really cheered me up that - the idea that the Mancs are going to pay £100k+ a week for ten years for that waster. Brilliant and lets face it you need cheering up.
Bigal Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Why is it again that he can sign a ten-year contract? I thought the maximum length was five years? didnt fabregas sign at 8 year deal?
Andy @ Allerton Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 and lets face it you need cheering up. When he's a washed out drink and drug addled wreck at 23 - does that mean you'll have to pay him millions to get him off your payroll?
Internationinteroperability Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 didnt fabregas sign at 8 year deal? He did but I still don't know how it's possible?
Guest Anders Honoré Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 good deal for manU if true. Bad for rooney.
Ostrich Man Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 When he's a washed out drink and drug addled wreck at 23 - ye daft git.
Guest ritchie_50 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 If you all hate scousers clap your hands....
stressederic Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Why is it again that he can sign a ten-year contract? I thought the maximum length was five years? Your overlooking the fact that Rooney can't count, so hasn't noticed the difference.
Ostrich Man Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Your overlooking the fact that Rooney can't count, .that bloody education system in liverpool has a lot to answer for. If you all hate scousers clap your hands....
Internationinteroperability Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 (edited) Your overlooking the fact that Rooney can't count, so hasn't noticed the difference. Hehe. Good for him if he gets even more money. He'll then spend a pound or two on a strap-on d**do for Colleen and then make a sex tape for Ferguson and his agent as a way of saying thank you! Then he'll buy Stefan Postma as his boy toy All due to the fact that he can't count But does anyone have the answer to why contracts can be extended with a zillion years? eth Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 £80 million over ten years is more than £150 000 a week.
jimmylibel Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Can't see him staying with the Mancs for the next 10 years. He'll go abroad in the next 5 I'd say.
Stevie H Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Can't see him staying with the Mancs for the next 10 years. He'll go abroad in the next 5 I'd say.think i'd be a bit surprised if he ever plays abroad.
Internationinteroperability Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 think i'd be a bit surprised if he ever plays abroad. He can't avoid it unless he only plays Man Utd's home games in the Champions League Seriously though, no player should EVER get paid that much!
Gilps Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 think i'd be a bit surprised if he ever plays abroad. So would I, but I probably thought the same about Gazza. You never know.
cymrococh Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 If Ferguson f*cks him off and he gets offered twelvety million by Real? Hardly an unlikely situation.
Stevie H Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 i love the idea of him speaking a foreign language though.
jimmylibel Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 think i'd be a bit surprised if he ever plays abroad. Hasn't our most well known, well connected poster said on a few occasions that Rooney is obsessed with playing for Real though? Can't see him staying at United, don't think he's particularly tied to them and Ferguson isn't going to keep going forever.

Cobs Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 i love the idea of him speaking a foreign language though.Gazza did it
