He would do anything for Real Madrid, no doubt. Top professional he is. Barca really missed Eto'o. Gudjohnsen really was, and indeed is, schite! ..... Víctor Valdés ....
Figaro Posted October 23, 2006 Author Posted October 23, 2006 Raúl is Real Madrid's version of our Robbie Fowler. He would do anything for Real Madrid, no doubt. Top professional he is. Barca really missed Eto'o. Gudjohnsen really was, and indeed is, schite!..... Víctor Valdés .... In their last Liga game Barca beat Sevilla with the help of the ref - disallowing an own goal that would have put Sevilla 0-1 up and then blowing for a very dubious penalty in the next move that put Barca 1-0 up. The ref then went on to give the biggest demonstration of being in Laporta's pocket since the time when Brit Arceo was reffing and that's saying something Barca have been a bit weak since the start of the season - they been getting results but Ronaldinho, Deco, Xavi are off form and without Eto'o they lost a lot of spark. Gudjohnsen was terrible last night but so were Xavi, Zambrotta, Puyol and Thurnam - saying that they still had chances to get back in the game. Madrid are overated - Diearreah was their best player.

Before yesterday's game I thought that Ronaldinho was slowly finding his form, but he seems to suffer without Eto'o. His understanding (movement, passing etc.) with him is just out of this world! Gudjohnsen is nothing compared to Eto'o. Larsson was way better too! Thuram hasn't been good at all for Barca, has he? I've seen a couple of their games this season (my "Barca" channel isn't showing the Spanish league regularly any more ) But as you say, Barca had plenty of chances to get back in the game. If only Gudjohnsen hadn't missed that sitter at 0-0 then Barca would have won the game. Is Poulsen still playing boss for Sevilla?
chrisbonnie Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 i thought that Madrid performance was fantastic, they all played with the hunger of a starving ethiopian as for Raul being a t**, he probably is, but he wears his heart on his sleeve, and ill commend him for it, he`s been written off the past 3 years yet still finds the back of the net whats this about his missus though figs, i take she dumped his a***, and is she famous or something?
stressederic Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Barcelona should have spent less time trying to batter their way through the centre of Madrid's defence. L ost count of the amount of times they got the ball up the pitch, stopped passed it backwards, then sideways before trying to run it through Cannavaro.
