Gonzalez - I thought he was alright and was the one who actually looked like doing something, left duckface for dead while giving him a 10 yard headstart at one point. Put in a great cross for Kuyt and had a couple of (allbeit woeful) shots. Was shocked at him being subbed unless he had a knock.

Reina - Had a dodgy moment early on but made a couple of good catches, couple of decent saves and done really well to at least make Scholes have a 2nd attempt at scoring.

Strange that, I felt the same about Stevie because he put in a couple of tackles and tried to get the ball. As a unit we gave up at HT though.

Gonzales showed he has a bit of pace in him, but was poor overall. There's little to be optimistic about in the short term, the way we are playing.
