I can really see this being his last season for us, if we carry on in the same manner.

He can't say that we're holding him back this season. He's been one of our poorest performers.

He has been s*** this season.

I do think Gerrard thinks he is above his station though.

We've been s*** this season and he is one of the very main reasons

It's taboo to criticise him but this is just stating a fact

Giving the ball away consistently with moronic passing, and apart from that I don't see him doing anything else on the pitch at all.

It's utter, utter, utter f***ing dogs**** particularly when this fella's suppose to be our captain

Thats not my point.

He thinks he is worth more when really he is not.

He should play the position he is told to play and play it to the best of his ability, if he does that he will be our best right midfielder, left midfielder or centre midfielder, but you always get the impression he wants something he can't have!

When he is on the right he goes missing and drifts into the middle, when Rafa puts him in the middle he drifts too far forward and leaves massive gaps.

He is the ultimate stupid footballer.

He's been poor like most of the squad. Mind you he does rely on the two central midfielders playing well when he's on the right. And it's not as if they both have been. Always going to be harder to influence the game on the right but he should still be doing much better.

That's just conjecture, we've no way of knowing that. Surely he put all that nonsense to bed when he stayed the last time.

He's been one of our better players this season which tells it's own story.

Maybe if the likes of Carra, Xabi and Momo get their heads out of their own arses and start playing a bit of football, our captain playing poorly won't be mentioned every 5 minutes.

But then again I don't expect those 3 players to get as much stick as Gerrard does.

youre watching a different game..

So Alonso is playing well at the moment?

Utter b****x.

But i suppose Xabi is beyond criticising.

Be nice if he was given an opportunity to play in the middle.

Alonso is shocking at the moment.

1. He was given opportunities to play in the middle this season and everytime he's proceeded to stink the house down with his performances

2. Alonso this season has still be miles better than Gerrard, don't blame Xabi when his game relies on passing to moving targets making runs, no one's making runs, there's no one decent he can pass to

He has lost alot of his focus and needs to get out of the rut he's in. He doesn't seem to enjoy playing this season and he's turning into Michael Owen for his constant mood's.

Also, he needs to get the agression back in his game.

Alonso's passing has been really poor this season.

It's hard for Gerrard to do anything, when the two central midfielders have been poor as well.

f***ing Carrick is average at best and he had not trouble at all today.

And if Alonso doesn't start, who is going to give the attack the ball? Sissoko can't do it and Gerrard's passing seem's to be showing signs of the constant hollywood ball starting to creep back in.

Something's not right though - so who is the person to drop to the bench: Alonso, Sissoko or Gerrard?

Gerrard should stop trying to play in the middle everytime he is picked for the right hand side. It is so annoying, there was a big chance there today to really test Evra, take him on, supply a few crosses. None of that happened, Evra probably had the easiest game in a Manc shirt.

Finnan and Gerrard have got to build a partnership down that right side, but its becoming impossible because Gerrard is just far too selfish and wants to pull into the middle everytime.

Rafa has got to make a bid decision, he either tells Gerrard to stay on that side or be dropped or he drops one of Alonso and Sissoko so he can play in the middle.

I think we should move to out and out wingers from now on the flanks. Though I was totally baffled at the Gonzalez substitution.

For me, Alonso is the most out of form from those three.
