Took in Robbie's Reader a couple of weeks back and found it rather amusing. Okay, he didn't write it - they never do, and it is in a sort of Toxteth-Scally style to keep the masses happy, but that Thomo story was worth reading from a witness as it were.

 

Which brings me to one of yesterday's offerings: Nat Geog on Reinhold Messner. Always seem to have had a soft spot for this guy: amazing life-achievements and a real 'stand up and speak your mind' type with it. The picture of his feet - minus seven toes, is rather neat. But what struck me was his talking about Part (Stage) Six of his life.

 

I'd been musing over Part One and Part Two of mine (0-25; 26-50), wondering what Part Three will bring, and then I find out that he's already got through twice as many as me!
