Doesn't really say anything other than they can both hit long shots and the people who make these compilations invariably have no ears.

 

Gerrard is much the better player, which isn't to say Lampard is s**t, just that he can do what Lampard does only more. Lampard cannot do all that Gerrard can.

That current sports voucher thing Lampard is in on the tv at the moment winds me up no end.

Anyone ever noticed that Lampard rarely hits a good shot when on the run?

His goals are mostly either freekicks, shots teed up for him or him getting into a good position in and around the box when the ball drops (his best attribute).

 

Gerrard on the other hand is not as good as Lampard in pouncing on a chance but he creates more chances for himself. He can beat defenders and whack in a shot which Lampard never does.
