Anyone know whats up with my monitor?

On the right hand side of it I can see a bit of writing (Looks like a couple of words, cant make them out though) and a few weird patterns going up the right hand side of the screen, they're there whether im on the internet, playing FM or doing anything on the comp so its obviously stuck in the screen whatever it is. Anyone got any idea's? It's nothing bad its just annoying as I cant stop looking at it now.
