According to this morning's Mirror, he's threatened to walk out if the club is sold to Kia Joorabchian, and he wants Tevez and Mascherano gone in the January transfer window as they're disrupting the club

If true, he's right - he'll also get a decent job at another club.

I think 'jump before you're pushed' is the more apt phrase ;)

But that statement implies he deserves to go, which he doesn't. Promotion followed by an FA Cup final appearance isn't too shabby for his first three years at the helm. This season wasn't looking too bad until he got told he was signing two new players

No, but it depends if the new owners want an honest, hardworking up and coming manager skilled at building teams from scratch or someone in their own pockets who is happy to help move cash and players in and out on demand. All the indications are the latter is who they're looking for.

My dad's made MIS a bit of a pet project lately, been studying their dealings and clubs. Reckons it's an excellent business for moving large sums of money from a to b to c to d...

what could he say in fairness, that he didnt want them?

Pardew for Newcastle after Freddie sacks Roeder at Christmas

i was expecting him to say what he said just not to be blaming them one month later for their poor start to the season

Tsk tsk - no its not. That is something undertaken by nefarious bad types trying to shift ill-gotten gains, while the simple act of moving money between lots of different clubs over a short period of time is a perfectly legitimate practice for such legitimate business types as what the owners of those two Argentinian kids are...

Appy Arry it is then

I must say in Pardew's defence he had a cracking little team which has totally been disrupted by the Tevez circus. Tevez played 70+ minutes of some of the worst football I have ever seen on Sunday. He couldn't find a man, couldn't shoot straight and looked 2 yards slow. Yet Harwood Sheringham and Zamora were sitting on the bench. Tevez had the "what the feck am I doing here" look on his face. I am sure the pressure is on Pardew to start him yet he doesn't even look match fit.

Nah, they should give it to Michael Owen......make him do something for all that money they're paying him.

surely the 1st pressure on the manager is to win games?

Wasn't implying that he'd done a bad job. Was implying that I reckon a new owner will give him the boot and get someone else in though.

So now the Argentina manager has urged his players to leave West Ham as soon as possible or risk their international careers.

Turning out well for all concerned this move isn't it. Signing BIg NaMeZ isn't all its cracked up to be sometimes...
