Watching EuroGoals and they showed the crowd at the Valencienne vs Bordeaux game, they had a big You'll never walk alone banner.

Any of the French residents here no the history behind it?

For the record I know how to spell 'know' and know it's not spelled 'no'.

I'm assuming it was the Valencienne fans and not the Bordeaux suppoerters.
