On the radio the interviewer said to Pearce "It's not something that you haven't seen in the shower", quick as flash Pearce said "so let's not make such a big deal of it", or something along those lines.

According to a City fan, the Bluenoses spent all match having a go at him because of his brother. Then when he showed them a bit of flesh in response, off they went to the police for a good whinge.

Tis a bit like the derby game when they spent the game goading Fowler with the nasty smackhead chants and then were outraged at the line-sniffing incident (and yes it was stupid of Robbie but their reaction was hypocritical in the extreme)

They were having a go over his brother (who is also a blue isn't he?)

How could any Scouser buzz off that, ffs? They are way beyond ridicule if thats true.

A lot of their fans are 20-30 year old scally idiots who think they're being clever.

It's pathetic how fans have a go at players all game and then as soon as there's even the slightest reaction, they all start moaning and go off complaining to the police. Mind you we've been guilty of it in the past too so can't have a go too much at anyone else sadly.

Maybe the same ones who give their away fans such a bad reputation that even some of their own won't travel any more due to embarrassment at the racist element.

All sorts of irony involved in this incident.

Its out of order reporting him to the police, simple as that. Not surprising though, given the moral high ground stand is right by the away fans.

It's just surprising they haven't reported the load of old ars*s they've been watching on the pitch for 20 years.

Give them a break guys. Its not being an everton fan means your going to watch the footy is it? I mean, its either watching their team try and play footy, or do something else, and like shankly, I think most of their fans would close the curtains too.

This whole incident has sent shock waves through the plumbing community. Plumbers all over North Wales are double checking who their customers support before going out on calls apparently.
