I suppose it's the piss easy group that has them there.

 

Fair to say as well that they finished ahead of us last year with their s**** team, and have improved it this year (Carrick is better then O'Shea and Scholes is back from long term injury). We were both basically knocked out by the same team (Benfica) albeit with them spectacularly failing. Don't particularly see why we should be considered a better bet them though as they are ahead of us again this year and we are hardly lighting up the Premiership and our one major test so far (Chelsea) we lost, so to the average bookings it seems logical that you would have them as lesser odds then us.

 

However, I would have Lyon and AC Milan at lesser odds then them.

 

I suppose I'll be called a moan and always looking at the bad. I just think I'm honest and can look at our team through clear eyes and not the rose tinted ones some use.

Would be interesting to know who the European bookies have as their top 5 favourites. The UK bookies always receive more for British teams and so the odds reflect that and skews the relative placings of teams.
