stressederic Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I think its disgusting that Parry's lack of ambition is stopping Rafa from signing a player who obviously wants to join us.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Hopefully one of the billionaires trying to buy us out will make Henry's signing the priority.

Bjarkinn Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Well said by the best striker in the game,,
downunder Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Shocked he didn't say Barcelona to be honest. More shocked he said this Thierry Henry reveals who his role models are - Paul Dickov and Kevin Davies. Dickov for "the way he moves, because he's always moving everywhere" and Davies because he "annoys" defenders, but "not in a bad way"
Guest TanMan Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I'd be livid if Hyypia had said that. Just seems unecessarily gushing about a rival.
Buzz Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Pessimistcally it could be Henry tapping up " Allegedly Unhappy" Gerrard t go to Arsenal. ORWith the mention Davis, or Dickov, He's taking the PISS because of those two passes Gerrard has given him.
Hodgson for Chelsea Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Always had a lot of respect for Arsenal, their fans are a good laugh and Henry is a magician.

There can never be a possibility of playing anywhere else in England.?
johngibo YPC Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has revealed his affection for Liverpool Football Club and the club's world famous supporters in an astonishing new interview. Despite playing for one of Liverpool's biggest rivals, Anfield has always afforded the French international a warm reception in appreciation of his sublime skills and now it seems the feeling is mutual. The chance to see Henry play in the red of Liverpool rather than the red and white of Arsenal might have gone now but that hasn't stopped the striker admitting he's dreamt about what it would have been like to be one of the Kop's idols. "I could never play for another English club after spending so long at Arsenal but, maybe, if there could ever have been another team, it would be Liverpool," he said at the launch of 'Impact Art', a charity which looks after seriously ill young adults. "I say them because I would have loved to play with Steven Gerrard and then also I love their fans. "There is something special about Anfield which is amazing and, when I see The Kop with their scarves in the air, singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone', that is awesome." http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...060922-1001.htm
Guest efcrmagic Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 (edited) I liked Henry as well. Edited September 22, 2006 by efcrmagic
Bootle Buck Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Obviously a Boyhood Red Sign him Parry
Guest Ant Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I love Thierry Henry absolutely delghted when he stayed at Arsenal,
Leo No.8 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Henry is pure class, from his football to his off the pitch behaviour. It really is nice the things he's said about us, but the admiration is mutual because he would have been a great Liverpool footballer. You never hear of any controversy about him off the pitch - he seems a thoroughly decent human being as well as one of the best footballers I've ever seen. Top man.
Spike Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 He's just a rich man's Cisse, a very rich mans one mind you
Bootle Buck Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 He likes Liverpool and Anfield so much he disappears when we play them.
stressederic Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 He likes Liverpool and Anfield so much he disappears when we play them. Well you've mockered that up a treat.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 He likes Liverpool and Anfield so much he disappears when we play them. At Anfield that is, otherwise he f***s us up!
Guz Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 He likes Liverpool and Anfield so much he disappears when we play them. And if he scores against us next time he's up - we all know what post to blame..
New York Red Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 If only Houllier had taken the 11 million he spent on Heskey, and spent it on Henry. I think those deals were only done a few months apart.
