Why would Eric Meijer, Nigel Clough, Howard Gayle, Paul Walsh for example get in the top 100 before Jim Beglin ? After all Beglin was an integral part of that great double winning side.

maybe the word ,"players" gives it away a bit ;)

Yes, and he played almost 300 times for the club which led to him staying on as part of the the back-room staff and the rest is history. I would've thought if he was to be included at all, it would be right at the top as no other person 'shook the kop' as much.

But if we are talking about achievments as a player and as a player ONLY, i'm probably just talking s****

I'm surprised Gary Mac is only 32nd in that list, behind Luis Garcia!

It's not about our best players, it's about their impact on the Kop, and it was apparently voted by 110,000 supporters as well. You can't be really that surprised with any of it then really.

I'm delighted that Billy Liddell seems to have made it in the top ten though - a true legend, who younger fans should be educated about.

Dunno how it will end up, but this would be my choice, given the ten (likely) remaining:

1 - Dalglish

2 - Liddell

3 - Rush

4 - Fowler

5 - Barnes

6 - Gerrard

7 - Souness

8 - Hughes

9 - Keegan

10 - Carragher
