Juande Ramos' teams have been famous for doing really well in the first half of the season and then disappearing without trace in the second half after Christmas.

 

His first year with Sevilla CF (last season) proved to be an exception. I think this years' Sevilla have an all-round strength and decent enough cover in the second squad to make the CL and even challenge Madrid and Valencia for the second spot. Barca are on a different planet - and if they keep both Eto'o and Ronaldihno happy through the seasdon them I can't see anyone being better.

 

Poulsen is an absolute must in the midfield - even at the expense of Maresca. The Dane is brilliant, but I'd like to see both of them alongside Renato and Navas and Adriano in the centre of the pitch - leave Marti out and play a lone striker - one from kanoute/kepa/luis Fabiano or Chevaton.

 

Ramos is favouring a dual strike force atm - although it will be interesting to see what happens once the results start going against the team.

 

A win away against a difficult Atletico Madrid will be a very good result next weekend.

Believe Athletico have been playing some very good stuff in the last couple of games with our old friend Sergio Aguero being a revelation last weekend? Will he play in the team when Torres is back in Pat?
