Guest Kev Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I was woken by a strange thudding sound about 2am this morning. I looked out of the window to see four pissed up lads ( I guess around late teens early 20's) randomly kicking the wing mirrors off parked cars in my street. They weren't being quiet about it either as they spontaneously burst into singing "An' if you know your history, it's enough....blah blah blah". As I watched them approach my house and kicking every car on the way, these thoughts went through my head: 1. There's 4 of them, they're pissed. Yep fair fight - I can handle them.2. However, my missus is still out on the ale so it meant leaving my two kids on their own in the house whilst I was t***ting these lads.3. What would happen to the kids if I couldn't handle these lads ? Amazingly I decided that option No. 3 was too greater a risk, but I also decided that it if they touched my car then option No. 1 would come into effect. Luckily they walked passed my car but still damaged my neighbours' cars. But I still felt s***ty that I watched these t***s cause hundreds of pounds of damage to my neighbours' cars and didn't/couldn't do nothing about it. If the missus was home, then I would have been straight out there without hesitation and kicked the living s*** out of them all. Would anyone have done anything different ? Phoning the police was not an option, it was 2am on a Sunday morning. They don't do this kind of call these days.
