Chelsea captain John Terry said Liverpool would be eager to make amends for their 3-0 defeat against Everton last week.

"They got a bit of a thumping in their local derby which is a massive game for them," said the England skipper.

"I'm sure their players and fans will all be very upset and they'll be travelling down here to win something."

Liverpool have won just once at Stamford Bridge since 1989 and Terry is looking to keep it that way.

"We have to keep winning at this point in the season, especially in our home games because this has been our fortress in the last two seasons," said Terry.

Liverpool were many people's pre-season pick as the main challengers to Premiership favourites Chelsea, but they currently lie in 10th place with just four points from three games.

But Anfield defender Steve Finnan has not given up on his team winning the title.

"We need to kick on in the league now, so it's important that we get something there," said the full-back.

"I don't go along with the theory that if we lose there we can forget about the title. It's only our fourth game and we can go on to do well.

"But, if we want to be contenders - even if it won't be a deciding match - we need to start winning matches there."

I'd like to see Stevie come aout and say something along the lines of:

'This is a massive game for them. We have a good record against them. We beat them in the Champions League, we beat them in the FA Cup and we beat them in the Community Shield. We all know we need to beat them in the league, and that's what we intend to do on Sunday. They already have a loss against Middlesborough, so if we beat them it might put them under a bit of pressure after all the money they've spent.'

I want 352

Reina

Hyppiä - Agger - Carra (I want agger to play kind of a libero role)

Finna - Aurelio

Alonso-Sissoko

Gerrard

Kuyt

Coruch

Strong center axe, with the wingback pushing forward. Chelsea are without Robben and Cole, and will play 4 CM at the same time. We need to be there...

One of our attackers should drop deep and either Kuyt (from what I saw in WC ie not much), Crouch or Bellamy could do this IMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bellamy playing deep.

This is my non Magic 8 Ball based prediction for the game on Sunday. I've no idea what the score will be, however we will get a penalty, and we'll miss it. I saw it in a dream.

Crouch is too slow to play on his own. That formation would only work with Bellamy, or Kuyt.

The only change I would make to that Dave is maybe Garcia for Gonzalez, Chelsea will be very wary of Lil'Luis after his performances against them in the past.

People seem to have changed from picking the side they would go with, to predicting the side that Rafa will pick!!

I wouldn't play Aurelio at LB and I'd definitely start Kuyt. I'd probably go with Gonzalez too if that plug Ferreira is playing RB.

it'll be that thug bourlarouz.

Only 3 changes from the PSV game there. Rafa usually makes at least 5 or 6.
